Summary: one of five numbered James Behring, Jr. knives, special order and the only numbered knives James has made since opening shop in Montana. This custom hammer marked skinner, along with the massive 11" fossil camp knife, is also one of the first two hammer marked blades to leave Jr's new shop.
This knife has a 4.75" hammered blade stamped "1" on the back, large nickel silver hilt, sweet little 1" spacer stack, and drop dead gorgeous pinned hippo tooth handle. Thick in hand, it feels as good as it looks. High end user? No way -- tuck it away as it's the #1 knife and a total collector / investment piece.
The knife is fitted to a riveted black belt sheath made by Jack Mosher. Stamped by the maker on the back -- mint condition and the perfect compliment to such a special knife.
Bonus: multi-colored 550 paracord survival bracelet. Made in the USA, easy to use / wear / carry, and unraveled gives you just about 14 feet of lifesaving cord that will look great wrapped around your wrist until you need it.
13 photos of this beauty from every angle -- as shown, a new black suede carry case for storage to seal the deal. All five of these numbered knives are exceptional in their own way -- this #1 knife with the pinned hippo tooth handle is the cream of the crop. It's a very unique and rare piece -- thanks and good luck.
