Description

Summary: a custom skinner made by the late Grady McCotter. Grady was one of the good guys, always willing to help and give advice. A very good maker in his own right, this is one hell of a nice knife. I’m not sure who did the engraving on the guard / pins, it’s signed and dated on top of the guard but I do not recognize the engravers initials. Handled with maroon micarta slabs in the single finger grip configuration, feels awesome in hand. Made from 1/4” stock and in near mint condition, nothing but a few fingerprints.

The knife is paired to a pouch sheath made by Russ Sutton of New Bern, SC. (same city Grady resided in) Belt slit on the back for right-side carry, the sheath is in near mint condition with nothing but a few very light handling marks.

8 photos for review – as shown, a new black canvas carry case is included. This is a gorgeous knife perfect the collector, it would be an awesome knife to own if you are someone who had a past relationship with Grady. You’ll need someone to put a nice edge on it before it’s ready for any type of use, should be no big deal. Great knife by a really great guy... thanks and good luck.
