Summary: Rod Watts is a relatively new maker putting together some exceptionally nice fixed blade knives. He won the "Best New Maker" award at the 2011 Blade Show in Atlanta, an amazing accomplishment. I bought this knife based solely on the look of the stag, I'd never seen anything as nice. I mean... this thing is crazy nice! No sheath, but I really didn't care -- one look and I knew I wanted to see it in person.

The knife was built with a 4" ATS34 blade (brushed), 416 stainless bolsters, and pinned amber stag scales. Tapered tang with ultra thin tang liners, this knife is a beauty. No sheath but who cares -- you're better off just to tuck it under glass and let people admire it.

9 photos for review -- I'll pack it well inside a custom black suede carry case shown in the first few photos. This is a great looking, well made knife from a very talented new maker -- prices will surely increase if he keeps cranking out pieces like this. Thanks and good luck.
