Summary: a vintage 1980's Timberline Field Hiker & original sheath in near mint condition. The knife looks brand new -- a few light wipe marks on the pins and a couple of scuffs on the sheath are all I could find worth mentioning. (the knife is in exceptional condition) The blade is about 3-1/2" back to the scales -- sharpened edge is approximately 2-3/4". Overall length is 7-1/8". The scales appear to be ironwood -- small hole in the extended tang for lanyard attachment. Serial number 145FA etched on the back of the blade.
The sheath is also from the 1980's and original to the knife. Not stamped with the Timberline trademark, so I checked with Vaughn Neeley who gave me the thumbs up that this is definitely original leather.
7 photos for review -- as shown, a new black canvas carry case is included. This is a great price on a nearly 30 year old Timberline knife and sheath -- excellent collector value as well as being a fabulous piece for everyday carry.
Thanks and good luck.
