Summary: this is a Vaughn Neeley model SG solid handle survival knife. Vaughn's knives are the best of the best -- extraordinary fit and finish. I was finally able to get a few more of these SG's from him -- quite rare and priced to sell. The upper edge is sharpened back approx. 4-3/4" -- the double guard is drilled for lanyard attachments. (for spear fabrication) The hilt and butt are both made of 304 series stainless steel -- the fingered linen micarta handle is very comfortable in hand. The sheath is handmade by Vaughn -- there is a fixed sharpening stone under the back flap. This is a great looking, extremely functional knife... satisfaction guaranteed.
